I am going to describe a work of art of Banksy. I can see a kid murdered by the logo Nike so maybe Banksy wants to show you how a popular logo can ruin kids, it might be because the logo can ruin kids because Nike’s clothes are so expensive or it might be because Nike uses kids to make Nike’s products (shoes, t-shirt, joggings,…).It’s maybe a message to stop buying popular logo’s products to kids because they are going to be addicted to these products. It maybe too a message to stop employing kids to make Nike’s products.

I think this image is true and sad because they make kids go the wrong way or they employ them.

Cette œuvre est l’une des plus connu par Bansky. L’œuvre est faite par un pochoir, graphitti, bombe de peinture.

Le bouquet de fleur représente la protestation et la manifestation. Bansky en tant que révolutionnaire a fait cette œuvre pour le conflit israélo-palestinien qui a débute en 14 mai 1948 .

Kenza & Vincent 

The title of this work of art is Napalm. It was painted in 1994. The name of the street artist is Banksy so maybe this graffiti was painted in England because Banksy in English.

On this tag, we can see Ronald Mc Donald and Mickey Mouse in the foreground and there is a Vietnamese girl who has been burnt by napalm. The background is grey. Mickey and Ronald are holding the Vietnamese girl.

The message which is conveyed may be to stop wars in the world because it provokes a lot of ravages for the population. Ronald and Mickey represent the American power because initially this tag is a photo which was taken during the Vietnam war. This war opposed Americans and Vietnamese.

According to me, this graffiti is truly interesting and a well made graffiti, I’m impressed.

Timothée

This work of art was painted by Banksy, the title is “Pulp Fiction”. He was inspired by the movie Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarentino in 1994.

On this work of art, I can see 2 famous men, they are Samuel Jackson and John Travolta. In their hands the bananas replaced the guns. The background is black, only the bananas are colored. The two men are in black and white too and they are wearing costumes. They are looking the same way and pointing the bananas. This work was painted with stencils, it’s a graffiti.

I think Banksy wants to reproduce a scene of the movie (Pulp Fiction) in a funny way by replacing the guns with bananas.

For me, this graffiti is not very interesting; It doesn’t really make sense to me. But it’s a good idea to replace the guns with bananas.

Salif & Manar

It’s a graffiti painted by Banksy. The name is “There is always hope” painted in black and white. It is a little girl alone who raises her arm to catch her red balloon.
